ordering at erin's gourmet apples  is 100% secure.  all your sensitive credit card information is encrypted in a secure server.

here's how it works:
    1.  when you get ready to check out, you enter your billing and shipping address information into a form.  then click on the "continue" button at the bottom of the form.
    2.  you are then taken into a secure server.  you can tell because of the padlock that shows up in the bottom right corner of your screen.  it is in this secure server environment that you enter your credit card information and submit the order.
    3.  when we download the order information, only the order is transmitted to us.  none of the credit card information is sent.  the credit card information stays in the secure server and is never transmitted by email anywhere.

so, once you enter your credit card information, you can be assured that your sensitive information will never be transmitted by email anywhere over the internet.  it will stay in the secure server.
